Watch What You Say...

This was emailed to me, and I agree with it completely!

The tongue which we mainly think of for tasting, can speak tales, troubles, torment, terror, trickery and  transgression.  But the same tongue can also speak, truth, triumph, thanks, thoughts of good and not evil, tolerance, and transformation.  This same tongue can teach the unlearned ,  touch the untouchable, and  tame the untamable.

How do you use your tongue?  Do you speak to your troubles, or do you just speak about your troubles?  Well God has given each of us a small tool that is as powerful as a torpedo. Even if your troubles seem as large as the titanic, or have you tossing and turning, or tip-toeing, God has given us His word which is "living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword".  We just need to SPEAK IT!!

So try speaking to your troubles today.  Tell that old man or woman, “You are a new creature through Christ Jesus”; tell that stubborn sickness, “You are healed by the stripes of Christ Jesus";  tell lack, poverty and deficiency that "All your needs are met according to God's riches in glory through Christ Jesus”; and tell every dead situation and circumstance that "Jesus Christ came and died so that you may have life and have life more abundantly.“     SPEAK IT UNTIL YOU BELIEVE IT UNTIL YOU SEE IT!!!!!

A man's stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth;
From the produce of his lips he shall be filled.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.
Proverbs 18:20

But he answered and said,
"It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God."
Matthew 4:4

So Jesus answered and said to them,
"Have faith in God.  For assuredly, I say to you,
whoever SAYS to this mountain,  'Be removed and
be cast into the sea', and does not doubt in his heart,
but BELIEVES that those things he SAYS will be done,
he will have whatever he SAYS.
Mark: 11:22-23
